Oxidized Black Escort Detailed **56k**

Last week I detailed my friends wife's black Escort for him.



Here's the process along with tons of pics:



Washed with Quick & Easy Wash

Clayed with Mothers claybar

Washed again with QEW

Paint got DACP via PC and a Meguiars Cutting Pad x 2

Topped with NXT Tech wax with a grey finishing pad



He told me that it hadn't been washed in over 2 years.



The drivers side doors and 1/4 panel had been repainted after a deer incident about 2 years ago and not touched since then.



The rest of the car was mildly swirled and badly oxidized, especially the hood.

I wasn't able to get a true finished pic, in bright daylight, as it was dark when I was done, then it rained and Marc(my neighbor) and I have been busy.



I still need to do the inside and motor, etc.
