Oxidiation and pads

My friend wants me to clean up his 13 year old white Toyota Celica. It is badly oxidized and I'm assuming it's a single stage paint.



I'm assuming that my PC pads will get white paint all over them and was wondering if they would come clean afterwards?
 
Yep. No problem, like disasnguy said. I polished my friend's '70VW Karmann Ghia (red, single-stage paint). Pads were hideous, but after a good, thorough wash, they came mostly clean. Yeah, they do still have a slight pinkish cast to them, but they certainly aren't ruined.
