hello everyone,i been speeded 12hrs to buff out this 98 integra to a new paint shine, process was,meg 83 dacp with a wool, then use meg#82 swp with foam polish, then i use klasse aio, last step was pinnacle signature wax.everything done completely, got out in the sun was swirl free and it was fine. after sit the sun for two days and lit rain drop.all the oxidation came back and big water spot, all the cloud oxidation that stay on the paint that all came back oh god.it's the car has no clearcoat protection?or i buff out too much of clearcoat and paint? i only use in between 1500-2000 with my makita rotary.can anybody here help with this:bow :bow :bow

When he says "big water spot", I hope that this does not indicate that clear coat is gone and only the base coat remains.

My guess would be that most of your clearcoat is gone and you burned the car in a few places even on the base coat... 12hrs + rotary + wool + 1500-2000 RPM = new paint job

Usually with really bad oxidation, you've got to cut really aggressively to get rid of it and make sure it doesn't come back.

Since it did return so quickly, I'm guessing that you didn't remove it, and the polishes you use just hid it. #83 and #82 are very oily and will hide oxidation well, however once it dries out, the oxidation is back and looks as bad as ever.

I've never experienced #83 or #82 hiding anything... #9 has some fillers and hides very tiny scratches well, but the other 2 simply polish..

ok partners, instead spending 1000bucks for new paint job or new clearcoat,i"m just going to cut little bit more with little more abrasive compound of ip merzenna to see the result,if again that oxidation come back, I have no choice to do new paint job. thanks ALOT. again i did't no #83 n #82 were very oily, thanks mad ix.

I dont think any 98 integra ive ever seen was SS and ive never seen oxidation on CC, faded yes but not oxidation.

It would really help to see some pics.
