oxidation, and oil on car

I am going to be helping my in-laws by detailing their car this weekend. It is a white Chrysler Sebring convertable. The car looks like it has not been washed in months, covered with oil from a uhaul when in tow, and has some slight oxidation. I have a few questions, could use some advise.

What wash product will remove everything, including oil? Dawn?

Will clay remove oxidation? If not, what will by hand since I don't have a buffer?

The car has some pretty good swirls, what to use for that?

I'm planning on using some Mother's reflections for the final coat, don't want to use up all my Z. What kind I use for a 1st step?

I'm going to Pep Boys today to pick stuff up. Any advise is apreciated.

By the way, how much does a PC cost? thanks.

Dawn will remove the oily film. WD 40 for any tar marks

Mequiar's #7( light oxidation/swirls) or #9(heavy oxidation/swirls)...quite a job by hand but I have done this prior to getting a PC.

After I would clay to remove any embedded crud. Rewash with a good soft soap car shampoo.

Apply wax and wait for the compliments.

P.S. tell these people to at least wash their car once in a while. :wavey
