Outsource For Quality and Savings

I've outsourced my SEO work on my website to India. When I posted my project on elance.com, I received 17 proposals from across the world. No wonder the US economy is in trouble. These people blow US competition out of the water! Their proposals for my $300 budget are 7 pages long in some cases. The average monthly SEO fee offered by the Indian firms is around $150-$200. In the US, it's about 2-3x that. You can communicate with them via skype, phone, chat, e-mail, gchat, etc. The service is impeccable. As long as you pick a company with plenty of good feedback, you will be in good hands.

I recommend everybody to at least try outsourcing some part of your E-marketing plan. You'll save insane amounts of money, work will be on par if not better to that of the US firms, and you'll feel a bit unpatriotic. (Personally I'd rather support somebody working hard for $7 an hour than somebody working hard for $70.)

PLEASE DO NOT GO INTO POLITICS OF OUTSOURCING. Yes it isn't good for the economy, but I can't afford to have a US company work on my site. A lot of other people can't either.

It all looks great on paper, that is why so many companies are using outsourcing. But much like anything else, if it looks too good to be true, it usually is. I have worked with several companies that oursourced, and it has been break even at best.

You spend a lot of time emphasizing SEO, however, when I Google "auto detailing baltimore", your site does not show up in the organic results. It does show up in local business listing, but that does not have much to do with SEO.

Yep just started with it. I'm hoping it'll get to the top 10 no sooner than March. I shut down mobile operations for the winter.

Let's use you as a lab rat and see how they do with your site. For reference your site came up #52 in a Google search today, 12/10/09.

I too am curious as to how this works out for you. Keep us posted.

"hey there are millions out of work right now, we are in a recession where everyone wants to work, but cant find anything to do, but lets keep sending business and money overseas where we will never see the return"

Under what tags?

"auto detailing baltimore"

I know for my site the two most common search tags are "auto detailing" and "car detailing" so that should be a good indicator.

hehehe, here we go.....

Arent there a good deal of people here that use a certain polish developed and manufactured in Germany? Not much different amigo....

yeah but dont you think that since I am buying from autogeek I am stimulating our economy more...It my understanding that very little is actually produced in USA, and MOST things are outsourced to save money, however, if at least SOME of the money is spent in the US economy, that is at least more helpful than 100% going overseas!

case in point, as this is just one example I have heard about recently:

P90X work out program

sells in the US stores for $139

Target buys it for...get this <$9

cost to make it over in china or wherever - ~$1

so buying 10K units @ $90K overseas to make $1.3 milllion here...thats worth it. But sending 100% of the money and seeing ZERO return, not worth it.

At least that is my understanding, I could be wrong.

For some reason that's ok. Like the guys that only buy American cars made in Mexico but EVERYTHING else in their garage and house comes from overseas.

A one time fee of $200 to India or $3000 to Germany over time.

It doesn't bother me though.

Keep us posted on how your ranking end up Maks!

When I was looking for some place to answer phones for us, back when we used a phone, I had to go with a place in the U.S. because all the other places were way too hard to understand.

BOOM!:woot:

And the guys making the money that pay the bills want someone HERE to deal with. Not some zero-obligation "x" in the middle-of-nowhere who in the end is accountable for nothing!

The minuscule differentiation in dollars is not worth the aggrivation and image.

if you type reflections detailing, i come up number 1 somehow..my site took me all over a few hours to make a few years back. This winter, that will change!! Gotta makeover coming.

I've stopped all SEO and work on my site until February. Everything you see right now is just a sample. This guy was able to get my video on the front page of google within 6 hours. Can you believe that...6 hours? He'll be starting full fledge in mid February when I need the exposure to begin.

It took me about a week to go from nowhere to page 1 on google. It's simple once you get it set paying someone hundreds of dollars a month to keep it up is about as bass ackwards as it gets for business sense. Just get it set once and then keep it up yourself.. Takes about 10 minutes a week tops.
