There is no cure!
well as i mentioned in a couple posts prior to this one, i finally got my new car thursday night. its a 2006 330i. the car is amazing. it has soo many things that i thought only the 7 series had and then some. its wicked fast, and even faster then some of the other competitors who actually give out more horsepower. now i dont know how accurate these tests are, but edmunds states 0-60 in 6.1 . thats way more than enough that i need or ever plan on using.

this car was sitting in the lot for about a month and it had light swirls everywhere. the dealer wanted to wash it, but considering i frequent DC and i know better, i told him not to worry that i would take care of it.

the car was detailed yesterday, and it was driven 45 miles in the rain. so excuse tghe light dusting u see on the paint and/or wheels.

process:

i was real surprised how clean the car still looked even after driving in the rain last night. the dirt just wouldnt stick the the DP PRODUCTS

nxt wash
clay
mothers power polish (very comparable to megs #80; fillers and all)
DP MAX WAX
DP WHEEL GLAZE ON RIMS
BnB on tires

QUICK NOTE:
the windows were tinted friday night. 5% (limo) in the back and 16% in the front

but with all this talk about the new car, i felt bad looking at the cooper alone with some water spots from the previous rains, so i gave it its last wash!

My wife may buy one of these soon. They are amazing cars. Congratulations!

BMW black paint is very well done as well. You will find Souveran looks great on it if you go the carnauba route. :)

Nice, I recently got a 2005 525i, very fine automobiles, but I have had a few small amd medium sized bugs and such with the car already. A faulty installation at the factory regarding the windshield, I would get a high pitched whistle in the cabin at 80+mph, also service engine soon on all the time regarding oil change in under 5k on the odometer, 15k is the service interval for synthetic oil. One more thing as of yesterday, Increased Emissions warning and service engine. I will be taking it into the dealer again soon, other then that and a rear shelf rattle the car has been great.

Awesome car... and awesome detail. I can't believe it was driven 45 miles in the rain and still looked that good!

no this max wax keeps everything clean. i only had light dusting on the bottom panels which get dirt kicked up from the tires.

wow nice details! one of my friends got a silver 2006 325i. i have a silver 2001 BMW 325i and i must say, there's as huge difference. it really makes me jealous of her car, hehe. the first time i saw it, i thought to myself, wow that looks like a 7 series. theres just something about it that i love. maybe one day i can afford to get one of those.

Awesome car. I know you will get a lot of enjoyment out of it.

So you got it at Braman, huh? My grandfather bought Cadillacs every 2 years from them. Very cool dealership. I loved passing by there in my 8 years living in Miami.

braman is an awesome dealership. the service and quality is unmatched. prior to visiting braman (even tho most of my familys cars are from there) we went to MIAMI ACURA where i can say they lost a customer. i was dead set on a TL but never even got a chance to look at one because the sales men were idiots. paid no attention to the fact that i was looking at the car right in the showroom and when i asked for service, no one helped.

I have been to a dealer like that before, know one even cares, they loose a customer. I think you got a better more involving car then the TL. Even though the TL looks/feels and is slightly bigger the 330i is by far the best choice for the price. I like your tint as well, 1 last thing to set the car off to a incredible amount would be new wheels from HRE, Iforged, or BBS.

yea! soon. maybe for this holiday season i might just ask for them. who knows. something clean tho... not bling blingy but definatly sporty enough to notice.

any suggestions? if i dont actually find any good aftermarket wheels im sure id just leave these on.

Yes, Bling Bling = no no . Nice polished or alumnium wheels from HRE or Iforged would be great, I can't really recommend anything as the E90 330i is so new that I have barley seen any pictures with after market wheels. BTW time for a new avatar :)

BTW, how is the weather in Miami today ?
