Beautiful garage, but there's one possible mistake in the construction.



From what I can see, there was no moisture barrier (i.e. polyethylene plastic sheeting) placed under the concrete floor.



This eventually causes failure of any attempted garage floor paint, epoxy or otherwise.

Where did the floor drains go? They are shown in the gravel but I can't make them out after that, and of course it was finished with that matting.

Real Estate is an investment. Cars nowadays are not. This is the best of both worlds.

The garage is cool, but is lacking.



Things I would add more functionality:

Tire mounting and balancing equipment,

Frame machine,

Alignment rack,

Dyno,

Wall mount spring compressor,

HID and fluorescent lighting,

Wall mounted lights,

Radiant heat in floor,

More floor drains,

Built in pressure washer,

Oil water seperation equipment on drains,

Deionized water line,

Machine shop tools,

Welding equipment,

Electrical cord, work light, and air hose drop downs,

Central A/C,

Washer and Dryer for garage and detailing towels,

Engine and transmission lifts,

Motorcycle lift.



Then I woke up and realized I could not afford to build this garage.

Of course you would also require a special dispenser of MicroRejuvenator MF wash. And the washer would be front loading for better cleaning.

Some say the moisture barrier actually hurts cement by not allowing liquids trapped under the cement keeping the cement moist and not cure properly. I was advised against it this year when building my house.

Garage has no warmth!! Should have set aside 1 bay for rug,couch,TV,fridge.sink , stove,washer-dryer etc. Where's the welder,Lathe,Milling machine,grinders, sandblasters, drill press,polisher,welding tanks,plasma cutter, deep sink? Where's the girls on the walls? And most of all where's the Harley Davidson?????????????????????

All that money in cars and garage and he didn't even put a central A/C system in. It's by far my favorite garage, complete with my favorite cars. Nicely done.
