ive seen those pics before, only thing i can think about is, truck lost control some how, and smashed into garage, owner prob thought "my ferrari is safe in a garage for sure"

I find it strange there is no track marks or path up the Ferrari, almost like the truck landed on it from the sky but then it's in a garage with a roof?? I don't get it, GLAD It's not my problem! I would like to see the insurance adjusters face when he saw it!

That's some pretty fancy parking. I hope the driver of the truck is okay. He may have survived the crash but not the wrath of the Ferrari owner. (POW!)

I've seen these pictures before...supposedly the guy with the Ferrari cheated on his wife/girlfriend and she was so enraged that she purposely drove into his garage to destroy his Ferrari. I don't know if it's true or not, but judging from the pictures, it seems logical...no skid marks.

I don't know about the story above.. but the first time I saw it was in a katrina damage thread.... :nixweiss

its the only thing that makes since to me, there is no way in heck you could purposely do that... how would he get the truck on top of the car? If he tried to just drive onto it, it would push the car and there would be some obvious dents in the rear 1/4 panel... there is no way that truck just drove up that car, its not high enough off the ground.. plus, how would the back end of his truck get beat up?

oh and also, there is no way just "driving a truck onto a car" could produce that much garbage in the garage... and I'm pretty positive an exoctic car owners garage wouldn't look like that before that happened.

flood water could easily pick up that truck and do that.

I don't think this is post Katrina damage. I have the original larger pictures and both cars have Arkansas plates, and Arkansas did get flooded from Katrina. There also are not any water marks anywhere on the garage walls so that would also rule out and flooding.

On picture crash2small you can see that the facia board at the top left side of the garage door has been smashed and the ceiling in the garage has a hole and lots of scratches on it. I would think the if the drive way has an incline leading to the garage with enough speed it could has acted as a ramp for the truck, hence no tire marks on the back of the Ferrari.

Just my thoguts...

The truck did do the damage. It was some teenager that was driving too fast, reached for a cell phone and went airborn. I verified it on Snopes.

what, you haven't experienced those killer huracaines in Arkansas? :bolt :)

well, that busts my theory... the teenager sounds plausable.

I remember it being a kid and being distracted somehow. The truck basically used the garage door as a ramp to get on top of the Ferrari.

A shame any Ferrari is ever damaged, but that's my favorite model.

I don't think you see skid marks because the truck was airborn going into the garage. ;)
