OTC products and the sun???

Ok, I have to admit I'm an OTC junkie kinda guy, but since joining Autopia, I have deviated a little bit towards the pro products.But, in the meanwhile, I have a ton, and I mean a ton of OTC stuff, specially waxes. Now, while I was going through my inventory, I started to read about the "Do not use in the sun..." Only use in shade..." kinda stuff. Now, my question is, is it ok, to use products like Mothers and Meguiars in the sun? Specially waxes...

Mostly, no. Especially not on hot surfaces.

I've had good enough luck using some in the sun, but on cool surfaces (early morn, fall, etc.).

Original Reflections® worked pretty well in the sun as long as I did section by section.
