Detailing the car last Christmas made me realize the value of properly cleaning glass.
Before I've always just clayed the glass, but last winter I took some Mother's chrome polish to the glass and, to my surprise, a lot of the water marks disappeared, and cleaning with the mf was made a LOT easier. I always just assumed the 'biting' you get when wiping with IG is normal.
The problem is, the glass's 'bite' comes back quite quickly, and some of the more stubborn spots were difficult to remove. So, two questions:
1) Is there something stronger than Mother's chrome polish OTC to get rid of water marks?
and more importantly, 2) What OTC LSP can I use for glass? I've read somewhere AW works well, and it's something I have, but anything aside from that?
FYI, I specify OTC because I'm on a tight budget, and OTC items are usually more affordable and more accessible.
