OT: washing car with gas station squeegee

kinda off topic, but i just filled up my car and i saw someone take the gas station squeegee and wash their salt/sand caked black accord with it. the windows, the quarterpanel, all four doors (above and below the trim), the trunk, but not the roof or hood.



the solution was already dark and grimey to being with, and mixed in with all the salt and sand stuck on his (and our cars) right now, i was totally stunned.



anyways, just wanted to share this with you. (i don't know if it's in the right forum)
 
I've seen many people do that before...my dad was one of them. :rolleyes:



His van might be an extreme detail candidate for this spring.
 
I had to do that when my family went on a trip somewhere. We parked under a tree because it was just plain hot, and forgot about bird poo. Imagine going back to a black lexus covered with tons of bird droppings. That was the only thing we could think of, lol. But its okay, that car is just leased, its going back in july.
