This car is a 2005 and came in with 600 miles on it. Actually wasn't in bad shape at all. Only places that needed some major tlc was around the top of the door edges on the roof where from factory it wasn't properly wet sanded and polished. This is the 7th one of these cars I've seen with exact same problem. Other than that there was some light swirling, and a few places that had some very faint sanding scratches really only visable under halogens. I didn't really get many pics on this as I was under heavy time constraints being the customer showed up 11:30 and wanted it back by 5.
Foamed with 50/50 with citrus wash/dawn
3 buckets washed with Pearl wash
Decon with Iron X(First time I used this really like it) Got the impression I should of done this before foaming and washing because I had to was again lol
Washed again
Clayed with 3m perfect it clay
paint messured in area's I was going to sand then 2000/2500/3000 to level excess clear.
Dewalt Rotary Orange CCS pad and Menz SIP used to fixxed sanding scratches
Dewalt White CCS pad and SRC Finishing used to correct rest of the car
After Todd's awesome explanation of paint yesterday I pulled out my megs DA and a gray CCS pad and went around the car one more time with SRC Finishing polish.
Fuzion
Pinnacle Sig II(smells amazing)
Sorry no working pics just the done ones as I finished at 4:55 and was still nit picking the car when customer got back. Shipped at 5:05 so here's the pics I got
Thanks for looking
