Ordering the Hitachi.

Well, I tried for quite some time to get a Hitachi, couldnt find it anywhere so I ordered the Makita last week.



Well what do you know, 4 days after I receive the Makita, the Hitachi is available.



Its cool though, I really like my Makita! And the bag is awesome!

Just ordered the Hitachi SP18VA from Utter Guys for $119 plus $15 shipping. 6/20/07 3:00 EDT .... The guy said That will be $189.00...Then I said that polisher is suppose to be on sale for $119. He said let me check, you right 119. I said I'll take one Thanks..

That price makes me want to order it and have 2, makita and hitachi...

Impulsive buyer feeling is increasing haha

I was ready to pull trigger myself when I decided to slow down and double check things as when something sounds too good to be true it usually is. On closer inspection I noticed their site lists $189 for SP18V. Right model number is SP18VA or SP18VAH. SP18V is older 9 amp unit, and their site describes it as 9 amp unit, while SP18VA(H) is 11 amp unit.



So, you might want to consider canceling your order.

There is nothing wrong with Makita. It is a very nice polisher. If I had to wait too long and did not want to I would have grabbed Makita myself too.
 
The salesman told me it was the one with the top mounted handle and would not come with the rubber pad but a plate with velcro sp. I'll call tomorrow and find out.
 
Checked I am getting the the 18VAH for $119.00 plus $15.00 shipping. Thanks for the tip for having me check. I would not want the old model.

well... got my hitachi today :getdown ! only one complaint... i noticed they shipped it in the original box, which had no padding inside (which they could of provided) and by the looks of it inside, it's has been through alot of punishment (box banged up inside) on it's journey to me. other than that.... :woot:



p.s. i noticed the 5 year warranty card inside, which is a plus! :xyxthumbs

Congratulations! I still don't get how they are managing to do it for $119 when next lowest price out there is $165 from Coastal Tool.
 
How did you fellas get it for $119 when its been marked for a higher price?
