Ordering Products

Hey guys, I am going to order some new products for this summer for my business. I am wondering what kind of pads I should order. I have been using the Griots Garage ones but I would like to get something different. I use meguiars swirl remover, heavy cut, show car glaze, mothers pure carnuba wax. Basiclly I am looking for a good list of stuff to get so that I can start out the coming summer with a good supply of stuff.

I have very good success with Lake Country pads (yellow, orange, white, and black). The Propel and Edge pads are also popular.

Are they for the PC DA cause thats what I have. I am going to be buying a Rotary one here soon... Any sugestions on what brand and model

They can be used with either machine.

i have primarily used LC pads without any problems. i have a few Propel pads too...also very good.

The PII Propel pads @ http://exceldetail.com/ are great. Green for minor swirls and blue for finishing.

I use LC on my PC, and have also used edge "style" from Adam's (double sided) Edge pads. I have no complaints reguarding either brand. If your buying a rotary however, you might want to check out the machine polishing forum, you might find lambswool a good choice for heavy compounding . . . far more cutting power, but you really need to know what your doing. I myself woulde'nt dare . . . .

do i need to get a new backing plate or can i use the one from griots

it depends on the size of the pad, not the manufacture
