ordered some new goodies

it's been a while since i tried a new product...when i first found autopia i was out of control, buying everything i could find and trying it. so, as everyone else, i ended up with a huge stockpile of different pads, sealants, waxes, cleaners, etc.

eventually, i settled on what worked for me and haven't strayed for a while. now, it's time to try another round of new goodies.

i decided to make the jump to wool on my rotary, after all of the threads and conversations convinced me. i also wanted to try some of the "current hype" for products...that being a few of Optimum's products.

so, i am getting the following:

--a set of Edge 2000 wool pads (one of each color for now)

--pad spur tool

--Optimum Poli-Seal

--Optimum Instant Detailer

--Optimum Opti-Seal

i'm looking forward to getting back to some :waxing::waxing::waxing:

Hey paradigm, I hate to sound like an AG shill (yeesh), but they are having an incredible sale on the Edge wool pads. Both the six and eight inchers are just about two-for-one priced right now.

The Edge 2000 6 Inch Wool Buffing Pads

Thanks go to Mindflux for sniffing out this bargain. I can't believe Denzil didn't beat you to it. ;)

To be quite honest, are those really "on sale" from AG? I could have sworn I've seen them for that price for quite some time (about a month). Of course, it may just seem that way since I've been browsing their site to what seems just about every day.

There was some reasoning behind ordering from AG's sister site but I can't quite remember off the top of my head. Either way, I don't have my pads at the moment because they were compatible with the 3k adapter I had ordered with them. I hope they find those pads soon. LC purple foamed wool will have to suffice for now! :bawling:

That's funny, I was thinking this would be yet another "look what I bought from detailers domain" thread, thank goodness it isn't.

That would be great if it's their new regular price, although it's just about half the amount I paid the last time I bought Edge pads from them. It's also almost half the price of the best price I could find anywhere. But then again, my bargain hunting prowess pales in comparison to some people around here. ;)

Hehe, yeah that would be nice! Then again, I'm not sure if I'll really need more wool pads if I have a UPW. I guess that situation where I'd need more pads is if I encounter a REALLY oxidized or other badly conditioned vehicle.
