orbital or pc

i have a cheap $30 random orbital i bought at pep boys and seems to work ok, i dont do a lot of detailing just my truck and my moms car and sometimes my dads van. i was thinkin about steppin up to a porter cable but do i REALLY need it, also would the random orbital remove some fine swirls that are on these 3 vehicles with the right polish?

and no the orbital is too weak, it won't do anything to swirls. Get a rotary. The pc will remove swirls but it takes forever. Practice with a rotary, dont stay on a single spot for more than 5 seconds, and slow it down on edges. Its really not as hard as people make it out to be. The PC is a great machine, but it lacks power and polishing out swirls takes forever
