Orange Peel Removal by Rotary with Xpert and Malaysian pads

The before and after definitely looks great, but how about shooting a video where you're actually using the stuff for a 50/50 shot. It would also be nice to see surface temps shots prior to using the system and then another immediately after too....as I feel that's going to be this systems draw back.

Until we see something like that, it's really not much proof at all.

Just my $.02

SVR, I love what you are doing and I love that you are willing to share with us. I recently PM'd a member to get some tips on how he restored and jeweled a clear bra and he wasn't willing to help. Trade secrets and all. Please keep up the good work and I may do this to my new Touareg when you get the details ironed out.

wow thanks mate. thats nice of you.

that guys mentality is wrong in my eyes. the autopians from dec 2001 helped me get to this level by sharing what they know so I will do the same in return. and its not like I invented these pads

Cool. Not doubting that it achieves the results you are showing, I just want to see the process actually being done, but most importantly, how much heat it produces.

not much at all actually. I lube the pads with black baron or ONR and since I'm using Xpert and sometimes CSI Ceram X, these are slow progressive cutters not compounds of old so heat is about same as when buffing normally with wool or foam. warm temps nothing more

Will make sure to do some video for you

Hi SVR,

Looks good. Been following the thread but forgot to reply!! I'm "Profile" on Bud's forum where we discussed CDG a few months ago.

Anyway, just about pads and polishes and the direction they are taking.... Interesting about the denim and velvet pads. Didn't they start off in metal and stone polishing? Great to see someone taking initiative and being adventurous with them.

Personally, I think synthetic suede pads with built-in "grit" sizes are going to be the future. They will only use water and no polish to finish. The water will come from the foam backing of the pad. Whaddaya reckon?

very interesting indeed. Suede now theres another fabric that could be useful

who knows, you just might be right.

just goes to show that we all need to get together on skype and have a group brainstorming session. it would be amazing how much stuff we could develop if we put our heads together

That guy was me..............and PM Newton I respectfully told you as to why and even answered another question you had concerning clearfilm which would have took you a LONGtime to find out and you throw me under the bus........................

You only care about finding out information, totaly disregarding that certain things are kept "Close to the vest" for a reason. I developed a few techniques ON MY OWN without help from anyone else, and you do not have any guys you compete with that undercut your price point and potentially take "Food off your table" now do you?.

How about doing some research on your own and playing with products and steps??, I respect your service in the Air force as a non-commisioned officer but showing lack of character in this regard is dissapointing to me at least.

Now on to SVR, do you give away free details at your shop or products?, if I call you and want to know how you do everything you do you will share ALL of this with me?..................me thinks this is not the case, as sharing certain things are fine but when someone (Me) says I have this reason......that should be the end of it because I owe you PM Newton what exactly?.............. that is what I thought.
