Optimum Power Clean??

Even though it's considered an all purpose cleaner, when used straight, could it be considered one of the most effective degreasers compared to the others out there(amazing roll off, CG grime reaper, Megs super degreaser, etc...)

I used it at the prescribed ratio of 3:1 ( I got the numbers off of a wbsite do not remeber the name) for use on rims and was very unimpressed, what ratio should I use for cleaning rims and or engines? I have a gallon and have been very impressed with everything from optimum so I am going to go with user error on this one.

I started this thread because I think OPC is so good that I was wondering if there is anything better out there. On the other hand, the dilution ratio of 3:1 is recommended for the interior. I use OPC straight on wheels, wheel wells, tires, and engines. I follow the manufacturers recommendations and it's worked great. I think people tend to dilute products to increase value, but at the same time, they're decreasing effectiveness.

What are the best ratios to use on this product

Engines/Wheels: ??

Interior: ??

I use it straight on engines, wheels(coated), wheel wells, tires.

3:1 for interior and paint. You can even use it straight on paint if need be.

Very good APC..... Kills crud on wheels....

Totally agree - it does an awesome job on brake dust at least for me. I have finally found something for the bi-weekly BMW wheel wash. When it gets too bad I have the nasty stuff too.

What would that be?

Meguire's Wheel Brightener!

:werd: You dont even have to scrub wheels its almost not fair, just make sure you wear a faceshield, gloves, and respirator when working with it

This was no scrubbing just a wash off with a green brush dipped in ONR
