Optimum Polymer Technologies, Inc.

I like their products a lot but do not see myself using only just one company. Opt does offer a carnauba based wax in their Spray Car Wax, killer combo 2 coats OS topped with OCW

What's the secret to Optimum Spray Wax?

Spray panel (don't drench though), spread with MF towel and wipe into the paint, flip towel, wipe again and move on to the next panel. Shouldn't take more than 5-8 minutes for the average sized car.

I tried Optium Spray Wax the other day. I immediately tried to wipe it off and it was as though it was glued to the paint. A nightmare. I tried another section of the car, same result. Letting it sit, only made it worse.

I had to grab some cheap Megs Gold Class, put it on and dry, to get the surface clear again.

What's the secret to Optimum Spray Wax?

I just used it for the first time. I sprayed lightly, spread with a foam applicator, then wiped off with a mf towe. It removed fairly easily without too much buff to deal with streaking. If you let it sit a wee bit longer, it seemed to come off easier.

Cant wait......

I just ordered Optimum products: Poli-seal, Opti-seal, Optimum car wash and Optimum instant detailer....

You should have added Optimum Car Wax to the list also. It's a great carnuba.

I was going to but after reading past threads I found quite a bit of people having difficulty with that spray wax

Count me as one who has not had a problem with the Optimum Car Wax. :cool1:

Just tell the others to talk to da :hand:. LOL

I just used Optimum car wash soap It smella like candy/grape has good lubricity, cleans well. I also used Optimum QD one word...GLOSS..I used the QD during the drying process its amazing going to order a gallon of this stuff..

I used the Optimum Spray Hyper Polish and Optimum Spray Hyper Compound and found a few things. I used it to remove 2000 grit wet sanding marks, which it did with great ease and great results. Very easy to wipe off also. The best part, IMO, is the incredibly long work time that the Hyper Polish/Compound Sprays give.

Optimum spray wax user here, no problem; can't say I do anything special- spray & wipe.

Same here, no problems with OCW. I lightly spray a section or two of the panel (I use half trigger-pumps), spread with a MF towel, flip the towel and go over to clear out the finish. Always great results. You don't need much...I've probably done 15-20 full-car applications, and the bottle's low, but there's still plenty left.

I'm an amateur, and thus have not tried everything there is. However I can say I've had nothing but good results with Optimum products. ONR is the one I use most of course. I usually spray some Instant Detailer on the car before I dry, except about once a month I'll use OCW instead, similar procedure so waxing adds almost no time at all. I like the spray polish also, though I don't polish as much as I should. Also like the Leather Treatment/Protectant Plus. All great stuff.
