Just a quick question. I found nowhere on the bottle that said if I can use it in the sun or not. Does anyone know whether I can use Optimum polish in the shade?

Well I know for sure you can use it in the shade hehe :doh

Ive used Optimum Polish and Compound in the sun before and didn't have any problems what so ever...Is this what everyone else has expierenced as well?

i dont know if this will help or not but im going to say No not to many products work out in direct sunlight from what i hear only Pb products do...i did use the QD it dry up pretty fast can comment on the rest but your best bet is to go under a shaded area if you do not have one improvize go to a car wash stall or near a tall building or parking structure..sorry if that didnt help....

Optimum is fairly sun-friendly, but I wouldn't use anything in the southern sun. If you're in New England/Canada etc, it will work quite well. Down here in Florida, I've even had a tough time with Poorboy's polishes in the sun.

Seems fine in the sun for me, but I try not to do any polishing in the direct summer sun if I can avoid it. On a dark car, I'd probably limit sun polishing to temperatures 75 or under.

I feel that any time you polish your paint should be cool to the touch. Darkers colors tend to become softer when hot. With the heat that your polisher will generate you could be asking for trouble.
