Optimum Polish and PB's PWC Question

I have a quick question, I am detailing my car and I was wondering if it would be beneficial to follow up Optimum Polish with PWC?? The plan is to clay, OP, possibly PWC, then EX-P, topped with Natty's. Thoughts?

i would think that the carnauba would affect ex-p's bonding. I know it can deal with some oils, but i doubt it could deal w/ carnauba. it would be like sealing over a wax.

I would use a glaze instead

Why not skip EX-P? Natty's by itself is a decently durable carnauba and it won't have any potential bonding issues with PwC.

I've never thought of that. I've used this combo on my car before and I never considered the bonding issues. This is just my first time with OP.

Do you think I'll acheive this same shine with skipping EX-P??

This pic was with SSR2.5, SSR1, PWC, EX-P, then Natty's...

I think you could cut out PWC or EX-P and not SEE a difference. I'd cut out PWC, as there is no need to follow SSR 1 or OP with another polish, as they finish down perfectly. If your looking to add fillers, you could add a glaze...but againi, I don't think you would ever actually see a difference, especially on white.

That makes sense. What about using EX-P instead of PWC and then top with Natty's?? Or am I still trying to add unnecessary steps??

The reflections may not be as crystal clear but it will look very wet. I used NB over VM on a white Civic and it looked incredible.

What the others suggested-OP > EX-P > NB would also work very well.
