I wonder where Autogeek got that. There is nothing on the label stating ONR can be used as a waterless wash.

I just emailed AG to see if it is a misprint or if they approve a method that OPT doesn't. I will let you guys know when they reply.

I recieve a quick and helpful email back from Dwayne over at AG today:

Thanks for your inquiry. Our writer was using the term waterless wash and no rinse wash interchangeably. The term waterless being used because no rinsing is required with this product. The directions given on the page are for a no rinse wash.

So I guess it was just an error in terms. Definatley not recommended by Optimum or Autogeek!

Did you ever see the movie Tommy Boy with Chris Farley? In this movie he said: "I could probably get a better look a my steak by sticking my head up a bull's a$$, but I'd rather take my butcher's word for it." In this case, I'd rather take Dr. G's word for the product HE created, not because I'm not willing to try new things, but because I simply cannot afford to EXPERIMENT with customer's cars. I like to detail, and am not, nor pretend to be a chemist. Having said that, I appologize for posting a response to your thread at all as I thought you needed more information about proper use of a product that I am very familiar with. Obviously, you already know all you need to and need NO advice. As a professional, I not only have to stand behind my labor, but the products I use as well. If I do not use chemicals per directions, then I alone am liable for ANY resulting damage. You may just be a curious enthusiest experimenting on your own car, and as such you may do ANYTHING you like, but I'd advise you not to do that with someone else's property. Would you practice your logic in other areas? Take more medicine than a doctor prescribes? Use 20W-50 in a 2008 Honda rather than the recommended 5W-20? etc. I'm not a big fan of learning the hard way and I'm too old and money conscience to buy things twice because I messed up the first one. Do whatcha like, though, and open your mind (and wallet) all you want,
