Opti-Seal or UPGP for dark solid colors...

I've been debating either getting optiseal or UPGP. I'm aiming for a deep, wet, super reflective, glass-like shine. I have solid black paint.

What would you guys choose for dark solids?

If you want glass like looks, Optiseal is your answer. UPGP does darken a bit and it give a rainbow like (think oil slick) look. UPGP also doesn't have as much range and it seems to attract water.

It can, but Optiseal doesn't really pop for 12-24 hours, it seems to take a while to do its business. I'd do two coats of wax or two coats or Optiseal, not both.

Opti Seal works great on my GM Black !!

I spray it directly onto the trucks panel Im working on and wipe with micro-fiber towel. I can't seem to get the hang of the sponge thing and get stuff even.

Opti Seal is my vote! Easy to apply and protection is great. I recommend applying 2 coats. Apply the first coat, wait 24 hours then apply a second. Use the supplied foam pad with little to no pressure.

New version of Opti-Seal it out now, looks wetter, gets slick right away.

I can't imagine it loooking any better than it does now! Especially topped with a coat of OCW! Zaino Z8 looks awesome on top of it too.

I just buffed on a layer of OPT GPS on GM solid black and followed it up with Opti-seal and it looks stunning !

I am going to top it today with OCW , but it looks so good I hate to do it lol.

How does OS compare to OCW? I have OCW and really like it, but I haven't used OS. TIA
