Which one of thses two LSP s is the slickest , wettest looking with the best durability?

Pros and cons......also is the durability at least 6 months? Thanks

Seach for this. There is all sorts of info already done several times. To sum up I think the consensus is that Ultima is a litlle slicker initially but fades and Opti-Seal is more cost efective and has it's own look. Either are Top-Shelf Products, you can't go wrong either way.

OS is a winner, IMHO wetter but you get a glossier look out of UPGP. You can't go wrong either way, but OPT is about half the cost. UPGP is apparently a bit longer lasting (although I haven't hit the breaking point of OS yet and I've had it for 6 months).

If I had to choose between those, Ultima. I find that OS look falls off rather quickly. Ultima will last about 2 months strong IME. OS lasts about a month or less IME. Both are extremely easy to re-apply so durability is really not much of an issue.

Ultima ~35 4oz., OS ~22 8oz. I think I use a little less Ultima when I apply but its tough to tell exactly.

I find Ultima a little tougher to apply w/out streaks but it lasts a lot longer in my experience. It is also more reflective.

OS is cheaper and easier to apply but I haven't seen much of a difference in look from pre-LSP application.

I use both on paint, trim and wheels. I agree with nsxtasy that it seems that I use less Ultima per app than OS.

Strange that subjective perceptions can differ in a such pronounced way...

For me OS is far more reflective and glossy than UPGP, which looks *nothing special*. It need 3+ layers to look good in my eyes. Also, OS holds its look better on *my* car.

UPGP has a slighly meatier, more substantial feel during application and more initial slickness as others noticed, but true, OS pulls even after curing.

I'm using the same amounts of both per application, but I apply them with MF apps.

I had very good durability with OptiSeal. Held up with same shine and appearance for 2-3 months on a vehicle outside 24-7. I haven't tried Ultima but I was very pleased with OS.

I found application very easy after I got the hang of it. They are different than a normal LSP.

UPGP looks wetter initially but after about a 90 minute cure time I have a hard time telling the difference between it and OS. On darker colors, UPGP has a slightly deeper look. Using ONR as the washing method, at 5 months both have about the same slickness, beading and appearance. Given the pretty big cost advantage but otherwise very similar performance, I'd recommend OS over UPGP.

I have and have tried both. I my nod goes to the Ultima PGP I like the depth and slickness and has to me a more nubaish look.

Ultima for boutique/specialized clients with discerning eye, OS for bulk/professional mainstream use.
