Opti-seal Grabbing On the Paint?

On the vehicles I've tried it on, OS alone looks like ZAIO topped with CS. CS alone is sterile.

If OS is anywhere as durable as CS is supposed to be, I won't be buying anymore CS. I will continue to use ZAIO though :)

I found the solution is to just work through it.

Anyone having any dispensing issues? It seems like the hand that I'm holding the Optiseal bottle in gets soaked in Optiseal.....leaking spray bottle?

You know what I had the same problem my hand was wet when i was done.

Anybody else???

So how does OS compare to Zaino CS?

Is that a fair comparison?

For me CS seems slicker and consierably less streaking . As far as side by side They look similar I can't see how there are supposed to be these huge noticable differences:nixweiss . I Have tried both on several cars. As far as the grabbing I think its the applicator, the CS applicator is better. As far a durability IMO nothing lasts as long as Zaino. I have tested OPS and OCW and durability was less than stellar compared to Zaino and DG. As we all know looks are subjective ,but how it performs for you is what matters. IMO a ZAIO+CS+Z8 combo is hard to beat for looks and durability. I will continue to use both CS & OS since I have them both.

I had the exact opposite experience. CS seems much more streaky, and OS was much wetter looking on both black and white. Much easier to apply for me as well. With the cost being less and more per bottle, I wont be buying CS anymore.

I'm confused, why are people putting OS on after a wax based LSP? I put OS on my cars with NO problem then I top it with my favorite wax lsp and damn it glows even on older paint.

You can use it either way...I love it on top of sealants, and under Nuba.

I don't think there is a huge difference - I would compare the difference to Z5 and Z2 on a dark color car with OS being the Z5Pro and CS being more like Pre Z2Pro. On light color cars I have a really hard time to detecting any difference between the two. Z8/CS does level the play field but even looks better over OS.

I agree with Joshtpa about streaking - I can get CS to streak by just using a little to much but OS I have not be able to get it to streak over a clean and cured surface. I did try it over a fresh VW and both CS and OS streaked bad!!!

I like OS better than CS but it could easly go either way!!

I have trouble with OS streaking. Probably all the other stuff not cured on my car. I have 2 CS for sale or trade for OS.

I have very limited experience with OOS, but over three layers of Victoria Wax it's like mercury. Slickly slides forever with NO streaking.

And pictures can be deceiving but there is a significant difference between OOS vs. CS. OOS is easily identifiable on the pictures (very pronounced light/dark edges, borderlines and definition), while CS looks like nothing. It is noticeable on wiper arms and black textured plastics though.

OOS reproduces in flesh exatly what you can see on the pics and adds a further dimension & glow what is not present on the pics.

Hmmm.... When I tried OOS over a fresh coat of VW is smeared and streak really bad - look like I was trying to finger paint. Was you VW fully cured or maybe washed? I love the look of OOS and have it on my daily drivers but still use waxes on my show cars. I new to VW but seems to be a really nice wax, have tried the VW soap or QD yet.

I can't seem to find this big a difference:nixweiss I have tested on both light and dark colors. Oh well, we all see things differently that's why there are so many products to choose from. Both are good products . I am going to throw one more in the ring, have you tried wet mirror finish by CG's ? Not exactly a walk away but actually rubbed away.

Not yet, but hopefully my WMF & JS109 will ship out soon. Another duo which have very unique optical signatures even on the pictorials. Definitely interested!

My bottle of OS only leaks when turned to its side.....actually comes out from the pump itself and yes this got my hand wet.

Other than that I have not experienced any leaks.
