Hi evereyone!

I will soon do a 2005 Saleen Mustang, it is black with golden stripes on it. My first thought was to use Crystal Rock on it, but now i am starting do have second thoughts about. If i should perhapes use Opti-Coat on it instead.

The owner just cruses with it when it is fine weather and on week ends, any one have some sugestons on what i should use?

Kind regards

If it is a garage queen it may not need the extra protection of Opti-Coat but then again, he'd never have to worry about waxing it again. Might want to discuss the benefits of the carnauba depth vs the protection of a coating with the customer and see which he feels would benefit him the most.

Apples and oranges!

Based on how the car is used I would say the Crystal Rock simply because it will probably look a little better and durability shouldn't be an issue on a fair weather car.

However, I think you need to discus this with your client and find out what he's looking for and explain to him the differences each will have.

If it's a garaged car... i'd say skip them both and use BFWD or if you want the waxed look... use Collinite 915. It will last longer than the VERY overpriced swissvax IMHO of course. Many people also like the look of opti-seal too.
