Opti-Coat haze

Not humid at all. Actually is was probably the nicest day here so far this year...we finally hit 60deg and I always do my coating applications indoors in my heated garage is necessary. Not sure what repainted sections you are refering to. The panels that were repainted at a body shop were done about 2-3 months ago. I had no issues with those panels at all. The car is a 2012, so I would say about a year for the factory paint. Thats the paint that was the issue. I think its just a matter of 'thats just the way it is.' Trapped oils makes total sense.

what are you heating it with?

Let me add to the above... and you may know this already, but just something you might not have thought of. If you are using any sort of kerosene it can affect the way a product performs. As far as I know OC doesn't have really a temperature range much so as long as it was dry, even applying it to paint that was cold would only cause it to cure slower, but I don't see how it would actually affect it in terms of it sticking or not. I could most definitely be wrong there though, as out of safety I typically want the temperature to be no less than 50 degrees and 65-70 is even more ideal.

I have approx, 600sq/ft and I'm using a NewAir 5000watt electric heater with a built in thermostat. I really like it.

If its below 50deg outside, my door is closed. The heater keeps me around 60deg.
