OPT and the Dealer

I got my shipment of OHC and I noticed that there is some of the bottles with the "New Formulas" label with blue compound and the old formulas with the brown. I never knew that OHC and OC had a new formula like the OP.

I think OPT should color the compound/polishes according to their labels so that when in a dispenser bottle it is easily identifiable.

White for OP

Brown for OC

Red for OHC

Blue for PS

The detailer at the dealer tried out the OC and OP in front of me on a badly swirled red car he was doing and liked it very much, no dusting and longer working time than the Car Brite stuff he was using and the results were excellent in removing those horrible swirls with a wool pad on a rotary. He is proberly the first car dealer in Montreal using all OPT line of products !

You ought to make the suggestion on the optimum forum. Not sure if I can post a direct link but if you google 'optimum forum' you should get it.

You now can purchase Optimum Polish and Compounds in gallon sizes.

Another thing Opti-Bond tire gel would be great for this dealer. You spray it out of a gravity fed paint gun. I water it down 3 parts gel and one part water. It is thick and dosn't fly all over like the thin stuff. The gun I use is a cheep one cost around 13.00. I picked up two gallons at the beginning of may and have a 1/4 gallon left. It goes a long way. I used to use close to a gallon of the sponge on dressing with in two or three weeks. Should save the dealer a little bit of money.

Scott, I am already a member on OPT's forum.

Even though its a new car dealer, 90% of the job he does are the used cars. The owner of the car dealer started from the used car business of high end cars and has still kepted that part of the business. The detailer is paid by how many cars he does, he does about 1-2 cars a day. Most are black MB, Porches and Hummers that are badly swirled and they want it looking new for maximum return in sales value, so you get the picture of what he is up against.
