Anyone still having trouble with CMA's orange power pads? I used one for the first time today on a Jetta and the area of foam around the velcro backing disintegrated after about half of the car......... not happy about that......the pad is useless now. :angry

What size backing plate are you using mzgloves?

I used the stock backing plate that came with the PC.

If its a 6" backing plate you should be using a 5" backing plate from what I read otherwise the orange pad gets chewed up, check out David B's description in the Autopia store http://www.autopia-carcare.com/lcm-76-2165vc.html

Thats my best guess, I haven't tried my new orange pad out yet, maybe somebody else has some ideas!
