First, this was posted on another forum so if you are a member here this is only out of curiosity and not to offend you.
I just wanted to post this here if it's ok, to see what you think about it. Just want to here your opinions and if this is what you have experienced.
I do not agree with all of this, but then again I only have a couple years experience and it probably does not get as hot here as where he lives.

Wax or Paint Sealent are the proper terms here.
Wax (Carnuba Based or Pure Carnuba) is great for German Cars, and especially Garage Queens. Problem with these, especially in warmer climates and on darker paint (because of the heat), is that it softens and becomes a magnet for attracting dust, grit and other whatnots...
Next time you wash your car, it's scratch city no matter how careful you are, and you won't even know it until one day you look at your car (at the right angle) and see some swirls and hairline scratches appear.
I don't use a wax because i had experienced this and it's a pain the *** to remove the wax with the grit without hurting the clearcoat. Most people don't even know this.
Sealents are polymer based. My choice because they last longer, shine just as well as carnuba and don't attract grit. Some German finishes don't respond well to polymer based products. You'll notice a slight haze in the reflection.
I would say for the money and ease of application, NXT Paste (last a bit longer than the liquid) is your best bet. Easy to apply! I tried so many products and were mostly a waste of money.
Stay away from cleaner waxes. How does something wax and clean at the sametime when you're suppose to clean first than wax or seal ?
And the cleaner waxes are abrasive, so you wouldn't use it everytime. Probably twice a year or even once. Better off claying, cleaning (P21S Paint Cleaner is good because it is a very mild non-abrasive polish also for gloss) then waxing (or sealing).

So,,,, what do you think ?
Thanks in advance
