Opinions - Topping Silver with carnauba worthwhile?

That's my wife's favorite on silver too, doesn't last long enough for me (the guy who's actually applying it ) though.

Do you use Zaino instead? Did you have a base layer? I found Souveran to work a lot better with AIO underneath it.

Oh, definately! I dont have a problem with the temperatures in the winter here....for the most part they are pretty mild....it's the rain, rain , rain. I do alot of S&W and some QEW in the wintertime here.
 
whatever wax you decide going with try FK FX100 over it. I'm not sure about which other sealants you can use over Carnauba but FX100 does a splendid job. And of course the 425 on top of that for the slippery effect (keeps dust off, believe me it works).



p.s.

has anyone tried pink wax on silver? I'm leaning towards this combination for my spring once over.

So far I have used FX-100 on top of AIO/EXP. I have been using HGAS with AIO/UPP. I just did the AIO/EXP combo this past weekend and waiting for a nice and sunny day to compare the two.



So far I think I'm between trying Natty's (probably the regular over the blue) or Pink Wax. Still options are Collinite 476s and P21S, but those two are kind of pricey. I am also still debating whether or not to order some 2180. If I do end up ordering 2180, I will most likely go with Pink Wax over Natty's. I do have a sample of Pink Wax that I want to try this weekend. That may be a deciding factor. I do value ease of application and removal along with looks and protection.

I would eliminate the first AIO stage as SSR2.5 will take it off. :)



I would also stop at the Souveran layer. You don't need anything on it but Crystal Mist in a couple of days...
