Opinions on P21S...

This is a good thread for the Review forum. Hopefully it helps people out when they search for this stuff. :xyxthumbs Nice work guys! :)

I ordered some from CMA ( normally 2 days to Va.). Will give the GEPC a try on the larger surface areas (hood and truck). What the heck, I already have the P21S as a occasional Blackfire topper and many here rave about the combo of IHG and GEPC prior to BF ptotectant application. This will break-up the winter car hibernation boredom.:bounce

Hi Tony,

Are you saying that P21S GEPC is far superior to my old standbys like IHG and Meg #7? Are the results the same? Better? Ease of use is not a concern ( I have mastered IHG on black ). Be careful how you answer these questions. The CC is in my hand and the clicker is ready to hit CMA.:D :wavey

If Tony won't say it, I will. As much as I like Meguiars Hand Polish, S100 SEPC/P21S GEPC give at least as good a shine, a slicker feeling surface and is much easier to apply and remove...and Hand Polish is easier to use than #7 or IHG, IMO.

One product to watch for is Clearkote's Vanilla Moose which is a light polish/glaze that I got a few months early (it will be out sometime right after the first of the year). Awesome product, very similar results to SEPC, including ease of use.

Scott I read your review of the Vanilla Moose product. It sounds interesting. I also did a search on IHG and thanks to you and Carguy mastered the technique to avoid streaking and rectifying them if they occurred. Many thanks.:bow :bow

Great marketing ploy... Vanilla Moose. Almost makes one hungry. Does it smell like vanilla? I love vanilla.:xyxthumbs :wavey

The SEPC and vanilla moose are on the short list for the summer project:D . I have to say that scottwax "forced" me to try the vanilla moose;) !!

It does sound good, whens it available?

It is supposed to be available for purchase sometime in January. I really hope it is...I have enough left to use on maybe one car. I would rank it's cutting power between Meguiars #9 and #7. Shine, slickness and ease of use very similar to SEPC.

No, it doesn't smell like Vanilla (smells similar to a sample of Autoglym I once got), but it is white.

How similar... better ,equal ?

Close enough to be interchangable. Vanilla Moose will remove light to moderate oxidation. This picture shows the difference with just one pass with Vanilla Moose (I used a terry cloth towel and worked VM until nearly clear and dry before removing the excess).

You can see how deep the reflections are compared to the rest of the hood which looks totally flat.

I guess there is no difference ?

BTW, Thanks for Quick Shine and Moose wax tip, they both outstanding products:up

Other than VMs ability to remove oxidation as easily as it does, not really.

Good thing I was out of #34 when I went into that automotive shop that day! Otherwise, I probably would have missed out!

Great coincidence !

It has became My main QD.I've used it on carnauba and non carnauba surfaces, and would have to say, that it's the slickest one compare to Pinnacle, Griot's and few others :up
