Hopefully the Hot tub area will gain more traction / comments. Well owning my first home is proving to be fun but challenging. I am a shadetree mechanic and detailer not a professional so please keep this in mind.
Here is what I am working with and what my list of soon to buy items are... let me know if you have other suggestions based on your experience.
Ideas:
6 foot work bench (located where desk now is)- Gladiator or Craftsman Heavy Duty Professional 3,000 lb and add a moveable storage unit underneath which will house my car detail supplies - I was going to get a lesser quality craftsman work bench with module but those are fixed in place and this way i can always move around items in the future.
Dog gate to ensure my puggle doesnt go outside through the open garage door and never return. this is a must but i cant think of a better way to stop the animal from leaving the garage so im creating a barrier.
Massive tool chest with locks to put all my items and future items in. it will also provide ample storage for future upgrades and use as an anchor for the dog gate.
Add some open shelves where I can find space and a few hanging cabinets along the garage once the main pieces are in place..
Also since the ceiling is a bright white and the walls an eggshell white ( found 5 gal bucket of eggshell white) i was thinking of adding a red paint race strip along the ceiling and on the door frames to add some color and contrast.
Here are the specs of the garage.
Want to do:
Wire up my Traffic Light. need to find a sequencer....
Add more polysterene insulation on the tin foil garage door and replace torsen spring / garage door opener as my door phantom opens
Add a 4 bulb 4 foot light to replace the 2 bulb unit going down the center of the garage.
Let me know your thoughts and or suggestions !
I have a shed in the back yard for Extra Large items / trash / Bikes so only the essentials really need to be in the garage.
Thanks
