Opinion on my set-up

Just want some opinions on products and what I use when I claybar my car.

Here's my steps I take when I claybar/wax my car:

1. Wash (gold class)

2. Claybar (not sure brand, got it from ford, its purple..)

3.Wash/ dry (absorber, 2-3 years old, new one?)

4. Cleaner wax (mothers step 1 or turtle wax)

5. Polish ( mothers step 2 )

6. Wax 1-2 times (Nxt 2.0)

Also, my meguiars gold class is running out and I have a bottle of the NXT wash, should I just return the NXT and buy the gold class? Heard NXT is rough on paint? true?

Thanks for help!:2thumbs:

The best process is the one you're happy with and that doesn't seem like work. I think you could upgrade everything you're using, but use what you've got first. There's not since in wasting money. I'd ditch the absorber for a leaf blower and a WaffleWeave and upgrade the other stuff as you run out. You shouldn't need to clay bar more than every 4-6 months if you keep protection on the paint.

thanks a lot for the info. So i guess a leaf blower is safe. I always thought it may blow sand or something. I clay bar ever 3-4 months. I just really like that smooth feel. I enjoy cleaning my car even if it is a lot of work.
