I don't think this is actually a detailing question, but I hope someone has some advice on what to do with this mark on my car.
It is located on the front driverside fender.
I covered the vehicle for winter, one car cover then one tarp, and wrapped with yellow rope (I looked EVERYWHERE local for nylon strap rope, no one had any)
It looks like the rope has worn through, or due to friction when windy..etc it has left a mark.
Is there anything I could do to minimize the appearance?
It looks like it is worn right through the paint, which appears to be fairly thin...
The looks OK everywhere else, haven't had a chance to clean and really inspect anything so far..
What would you do?
BTW I wiped it with rubbing alcohol before taking photo.
