The Hot Rod....
The Hot Rod was recently purchased by the new owner, and I must admit it was in really nice condition (too be expected). The interior was flawless and did not need anything done to it at all. The paint was very well cared for and only needed a claying and a polish/seal/wax. The car had an step outside the door that was also painted and that area neded to be cut with Meguiars medium cut cleaner with an Edge light cut pad to removesome scratches. The area was then buffed with #9 and an Edge polishing pad, and finished with # 9 and an Edge white final finish pad. The entire car was then buffed with an Edge white pad and #9. The car was sealed with UPP and topped with AutoMagic EZ Paste wax. The car was about 99.9 % swirl free in direct sunlight, and was one of the most unique cars I ever detailed. I consider my self fortunate to enjoy my work as much as I do !!!
Porsche was also an exterior only and those wheels were soooo nice !!!!
Beemerboy... The only inside and out full-detail car was the TT. I must admit that I consider myself a very fast detailer, because of a systematic program I use on each vehicle. My van set-up is even more efficient this year that it was last year. I try to completely minimize the amount of time I spend going in and out of the van and my power supply is know mounted in the rear of the vehicle and I no longer mess with various extension cords when powering equipment. Water tank and pressure washer is also mounted at the back door and is very time efficient and easy to use. I will try to explain in detail later this week how I save time detailing, and will post with pics of the van and my equip/chemicals.
Thanks for all the kind words.
