ONR/Zaino/QD Question

I recently went back to Zaino. I am going to do an ONR wash tomorrow, and usually like to mist a little QD on as a I dry to help out with lubricity. Is it OK to use a cheapo like Meg's QD with the Zaino? I am not going to use Z6 in a case like this.

I think the answer to this has been that it's fine as long as you do something to remove what the Meg's QD might leave behind before you try to layer more Z. That would be a Z7 wash or a Z6 wipedown.
