ONR With Wax has Arrived!

Had to order some product last week and saw that AG had finally got in ONR with wax. I know it will look great but I only real question is durability in regards to using it on clients' vehicles.

I am going to do a couple of washes in the next few days and will post a full review in this thread, and possibly a video review too.

I just ordered a 32 oz. for now since I don't know how much I will actually use it compared to waxing by machine or hand.

Here is a pic of it nestled up to some other stuff I ordered, in the green bottle.

Anyone else excited about this stuff?

Nope, simply put.

Washes are one thing, but "heat" exporsure is an even better test to find out the length of how long the product will protect a surface.

Ron I think I'm missing you on this one. Are you referring to me saying I'm going to do a "few washes"? I meant on a few clients and personal vehicles to see how well it works. The durability will be tested a few weeks out on the ones I can test.

I've been using it several weeks now, I know when my son got a new (to him) car, the ONR he reaches for to wash it is ONR wash and wax.

I don't think the point is to provide months of protection, more to provide protection in between regular washing or to give a boost to whatever wax or sealant you already have on the car.

Hard for to tell how long it actually lasts, my car has Opti-Coat on it. We'll see how long it makes my son's car bead, at least until I have time to polish it out and seal it.

Yeah I don't expect it to perform anywhere near like a hand or machine applied wax or sealant, but if I could consistently get 1 month protection out of it it would be a viable product for my car wash service I'm rolling out next spring.

I'm cautiously optimistic about the product, if anyone can make a wash with wax product that actually gives some real protection, it will be Optimum.

I started to pick some up during all of the Thanksgiving sales but there is still a bunch of V1 and a full gal. of V3 on my shelf. Interested in how it works out for those of you that have bought it already.

We are testing it and have plans to offer an express type service. We may even clay with this product in lube dilution. Wash, clay, wax. My partner and his helper did a small car last week in 13 min. exterior only doing this process...(still not sure how), but made good money and results were great.

Well done! I'm wondering if the wax aspect could make this into an amazing QD/Spray Wax

if its a decent topper to OC ill start fazing it in from standard ONR

I have ONR v3 for detail customers, now use ONR W&W for weekly wash customers. And my car. :)

Tried it today as a QD (1/2 oz in a 32 oz spray bottle), seems to work very well.

I hope it doesn`t look as though I`m brainwashed but its gonna be good if Optimum have released it

I'm with you. I've never been disappointed with one of their products. I need to try more of them, in fact.

I use ONR, OC2.0, OCW, Opti-Seal. I will try Power Clean when I need more APC.

My son picked up a 1995 Camry when he was up in Kentucky during the week of Thanksgiving and drove it back here. Paint was definitely protection free, lots of drag when running my hands over the paint. Soon after he got back, he washed it with ONR Wash and Wax. When he was washing each section, the water with ONR WW was laying flat, although any overlap on previously washed sections did bead up. That was two weeks ago. Finally rained this evening.

Obviously not fresh wax beading, but for paint that hasn't been waxed in a long time (the friend he bought it from wasn't really big on that) and definitely hasn't been clayed, and only washed with ONR WW two weeks ago, its a good sign that it beads at all. Sorry for the so-so quality, had to take these at night, rain has already ended, no telling how much it will dry up overnight.

Thanks for the feedback. Looking forward to adding it to my clients repertoire. Won't be for a while though as I just ordered a gallon of ONR from my supplier. He doesn't receive W&W until late January and I'm desperate for ONR.

will this replace ONR followed by OCW?

Ive been playing with some ONR/OCW express jobs recently for maintenance clients and its proven to be pretty solid for monthly clients...still has a waxed feel to them a month later
