ONR with a really salty car and no hose access?

So, I'm stuck inside due to the 2+ feet of snow currently coming down, but my 2 week old car is FILTHY from all the road salt they've been using recently.

I have an underground garage that's at about 50 degrees or so, so no problem with what I'm doing freezing to the car. Unfortunately, it also means I have NO hose access at all.

I do have a garden sprayer I can use to presoak, but it's not what I'd call high powered.

My plan was:

1. Use garden sprayer to spray down car with hot (well, warm by the time I get it there) water, trying to spray off as much salt and grit as possible.

2. Fill garden sprayer with wash-strength ONR, spray down car again, leave to presoak for at least 5-10 minutes (it shouldn't evaporate given temp)

3. Wash car with Grout sponge and ONR 2 bucket, grit guard (I only have one) in the rinse bucket. Change water in rinse bucket frequently (requires 2 elevators and a keycard, but what else am I going to do today?).

4. Rewash with fresh ONR and rinse bucket, using MF wash mitt or microfiber towels (2x per panel)

Then proceed to clay, AIO, Seal, wheelwax, and so on.

Then cry as I drive my car on Monday (if I can get out on Monday... there's a LOT of snow) and it gets filthy again.

Thoughts?

It will be fine, just pre-soak with ONR using the sprayer and get to work. I do this all the time without issues. If you have any worries, try an area first then check for marring, proceed if you don't have issues. And you won't unless you get grit in your wash media.

I do this from time to time, if you are careful and ensure that you change out the wash water when needed, it should work out quite well.

I have found that when dealing with the salt and grime it helps when I add a cap-full of conventional high quality shampoo to the rinse solution to aid with more effective wash media rinsing.

Careful when adding too hot of water to your pesticide sprayer, many of the low end ones will warp and distort the seal, therefore rendering it useless.
