with chrome lip. instead I use a normal sheepskin only for wheels.
I wonder how exactly it is done and as I have a BMW my self and the break dust
comes with the features of car :hairpull
The ONR I am really starting to love and it is a life saver in the snow winter days
where I will be washing inside the garage not outside.
Thanks for the info and the videos guys.
Edit: when he was washing the Porsche he said, " it is not a car I care for"
the car seems pretty dirty to me, the question is if he cares for it, how would you
approach such a panel without getting it swirled or hazing the clearcoat on it?
the reason I ask is because in the winter, most cars will look like this from the salt
and dirt on the roads
Harry Houdini said:CV yes thats correct, but ONR should make the grim release easier from the mitt when you rinse it inside the bucket, thats why I would be using 2 wash buckets.
I pre-wash my GTI with foam and let it set for a song or two and then I rinse it off, I mean really rinse it off so there is very little left but to do some spots around the tail pipe and the rear hatch. I try to wash my GTI as much as I can without touching it and when I do it's the two bucket system.Harry Houdini said:If I have to rinse the car then it would be a pressure washer foamer and then rinse,
sounds the safest way if the car is really dirty.
Thanks Scott.

SuperBee364 said:found out about some low dusting replacement pads. I bought them off of ebay,

SuperBee364 said:My Charger had terrible problems with brake dust. I did a bit of research around the Charger related forums and found out about some low dusting replacement pads. I bought them off of ebay, put em on (disk brake pads are *so* easy to change), and haven't had any dust since. I've had them for about 3k miles now. Best 100 bucks I've spent on my car so far. I'm sure there are some low dust replacement pads for your BMW. You might want to check into it.![]()

Besides what the point of washing your car if you can't have a little fun with the hose!

Harry Houdini said:Thats nice bro, but the problem would be the 5 year maintenance free service
is out the window with those break pads as the next poster said, I just checked
with my service adviser, whom are friends both the service adviser and the tech
who works on my M6, I am really interested in ceramic break pads
system even if I have to buy the full kit, I might be doing this for the 2009 M6 I am planing
to get.
Harry Houdini said:Scott you are an AAA detailer no questiones asked, but if it is your car your doing
and don't want to introduce anything to it or even risk that, how would you do it?
co-op rinse and then ONR? or there is a more safer process

One side of the car with ONR.
One side of the car wrinsed then washed with water and car wash.
Dry.
Compare the sides and surface scratches.
