ONR video demo

I wish I can see ONR against a filthy car.

There several comparisons in the C&B section, but I'll put a pic here to compare.

Good job!!!! Now if I could just close my eyes, sprinkle some dust around my toes and twinkle them, and change my Red RX-8 to a Ferrari. Just dreaming. I have busted my butt for 30 years, its my turn now.

The rear bumper had a layer of filth on it and cleaned it well. But I too would love to see a heavily soiled vehicle.

Was that really Anthony? Thought it was him, but wasn't sure.

I'm almost sure that's Anthony since he posted videos before and he had long hair in it. I notice he likes listening to music in the background also in his previous videos.

I wouldn't mind seeing a more heavily soiled car either. Most of the cars I take care of sees more than 200 miles between washes, whereas this Ferrari only has 200 miles on the odometer. The process wouldn't have been much different, but you could at least see the contrast between dirty and clean a bit better.

Is it recommended to wash in the sun with ONR?

It's not so much that it's recommended, it's just that you won't have much water on the surface and what is on the surface, won't be there long for it to be an issue, since you'll be drying the panel right away.

I do it all summer long. No problems.

I just wanted to make sure before I tried it. Reading these forums has conditioned me to believe doing anything to my car in the sun is sacreligous. However, it makes sense that because the solution is on your car for such a short time frame, water spots shouldn't be much of a risk.

That is a very informative video for people new to rinseless washing. However, I would recommend re-dunking/flipping the mitt to a clean side more often than shown in the video. I'm sure most people's cars on here get dirtier than that Ferrari.

Nice video, makes me think I'm a little too cautious with my ONR washes. I use the two bucket method, never make long strokes with the mitt and pat dry. Anthony was using one bucket, making long strokes across the panels and wiping dry. Maybe I'm too paranoid?

I have a question for the ONR experts.

Usually after a rain storm, I tend to have dirt and sand on my fenders, door panels and rear bumper. How would I wash this with ONR? Do I pre-soak my car with water, but that defeats the whole purpose? Thanks for the help.
