ONR Streaking Problem

Hi there I have a problem when using ONR. I wash the panel with a wash mitt and then dry but the problem when drying is the panel never gets completely dry. There is always some moisture left behind and then when i look at the paint once it has dried you can see like streaks of water and dirt left behind. It kinds of blends in with the paint but if you look close you can see it. Just wondering what im doing wrong. I got most if it off by using a QD but a few parts won't come off with QD is it okay to leave it for about a week until my next wash. Thanks

i just noticed the same issue yesterday. it never happened with the old ONR

my process hasn't changed either. still drying with a new soft terry cloth and a good MF. still using 1 oz per 2 gallons:confused:

that's what i meant. soft terry cloth for the most part & a good MF for the rest. i mostly notice the streaks of the windows.

.....or were those previous posts not meant for me lol

Sometimes the glass needs a couple wipes before it is streak free. I always clean the glass after washing anyway...with QD strength ONR!

like others have said, i think if you use two towels, you should be fine.

i use one for the first 'major' wipe to get most of the liquid, then i use my second one to pick up the rest.

you might even want to consider using three towels because the one towel that i use for the initial pass gets pretty darn wet towards the end of the my wash and losses its effectiveness.

If you've ever used OCW, treat it like that on the second towel. Just kept going over it with light pressure a couple times after the first towel pass and you will see it flash away like QD or glass cleaner. The new ONR is even better than the old in this respect. It's kinda like having a drying agent in the mix.
