ONR as a Windshield Washer fluid...

So I put a gallon of distilled water w/3oz of ONR in my windshield washer tank.



Well, it kicks a$s.

I started putting a capful of ONR in my regular washer fluid last year after NSXtasy recommended it. It really does work well. I'll have to try the distilled water/ONR mix once I'm no longer concerned about it freezing at night. So probably sometime in June...

Scottwax said a mix of ONR/distilled water/denat alcohol does a great job cleaning the windows, but not sure if that combo can be used as a windshield washer

What is the advantage of using ONR vs. regular wash fluid?

Primarily, lubrication. It also does leave a bit of polymer behind, too. I get zero streaks when I use ONR in the windshield fluid. It's main advantage is during the winter when you're constantly getting hit with sand/salt/road yuck.
