Well, I know you didn't do it on the far part of the hood. But you do normally do this "flood" method to rinse the car right? The part that you did that I also do is to "follow" the water down the hood. Not much water left after that!

Yes I do normlly dry my car that way, works great.

And whats this about Megs sending out wax to try? Something new coming out?

New LSP, beads like crazy, similar to UQD. Seems to hold up very well too. I have it on my car but due to getting rearended the other night, that durability test is probably out but on a customer's BMW 750, after 4 weeks it still looks great and is still slick as snot on glass.

Maybe this new LSP will be a new version of NXT that lasts longer and cleans less.





I love the looks of NXT, it really does not look like a sealant and it has a fantastic darkening effect, however it's durability is horrid and I think thats because of the cleaners in it.





I always hear the cleaners in NXT are mild, but I decided to test how "mild" they were by applying NXT paste (I prefer it over the liquid) to some aluminum wheels and sure enough it turned the cloth black. For thoe of you that don't know what this means, when you polish metal it turns whatever cloth you are using black, and if NXT has the power to do this (less so than metal polish, but significant) then I think it has more cleaning power than most would think.

But just in case you didn't know, NXT has no carnauba, it's completely synthetic.

I think most of the anticipation of knowing what it is has faded now, especially since we know it is a carnauba. Time to spill the beans.

I have noticed that now this thread has sunk to page3 after I finally gave away the answer.



Maybe you thought I was kidding? I actually was experimenting with making some wax, and that is indeed what is on the car in the video.

No plans for forumla 231, I am just messing around currently.



However, I do plan to send out some samples to various autopians to see what they think.
