One day long enough for a quality repaint?

I am having my front bumper repainted. Yesterday they did the prepwork on the part, and he said this morning they will paint it. By this afternoon he said it will be ready to pick up. My question is, isn't this a little quick? I didn't quite know how to ask that question tactfully when he told me. I want this to be done right, so is it possible to paint, clearcoat, and buff all in about 7 hours?

Absolutely. It's just a bumper cover. Quality is in the prep and application. Doesn't take long to paint/clear a part. Prep takes the time and if they did that yesterday, then no problem. My car was recently done. Took hundreds of hours in prep. One day to paint.

If the bumper is prepped corectly you only need a few hours for it to dry.A lot of body shops leave the part in the spray room with a fan on it to let it dry then attach to car connect electrial and moldings then your done
