Yep. The PC "jiggles" or "Oscillates" rather than just spins, as a rotary buffer does, so there is more vibration. This is also why the PC is safer on paint for novices than a rotary. The PC also can move much faster than a "Waxmaster" type buffer, so there would be more "feedback" that way too.
You might want to try wearing gloves to help dampen the vibrations.
