Or Non-Scottish Crap?

So Ive been looking around at various spots for cleaning and protecting supplies.

Ive found Eagle One Nanowax Liquid and Black Magic Liquid, at one semi independent Auto Parts store. The only place Ive seen these. Both rated highly by 2006 Consumer Reports. This shop also had a good assortment of Duragloss products, but not 105 or 601 or Fast Clean & Shine, they had 101, 111, and 501 and quite a few other DG products. I stopped at a NAPA but they didnt have much in the way of Duragloss products a few single bottles here and there....but they did have one bottle of Surf City Hot Rod that Im thinking about going back and picking up.

So I stopped at an old Ace Hardware store that I know has old stock of every imaginable thing on the shelves to check out their car care products hoping to find some Turtle Wax Platinum products.

They had

Simoniz Vista Paste and Liquid

Rain Dance Carnauba Paste

KitWax Paste and Carnauba Liquid

and

Simoniz Instant Shine (appears to be a Quick Detailer type product)

Anybody familiar with these?

NAPA doesn't stock Duragloss products but they will order it for you and have it in 24 hours. Alternately you can order from the DG website and pay only $4.95 shipping no matter how much you order.

Thanks.

I might just end up ordering online. Do they take Paypal?

The NAPA fellow checked for 105, but says they must have discontinued it, he said he could have 601 there by morning.

There is a Carquest Im gonna check out before ordering online. One of the big appeals of Duragloss was being able to get it OTC at a local retailer.

KitWax products look eerily similar to Formula 1 products....as their prospective websites reveal. Formula One products got a very positive mention on the Rate Your Current LSP Arsenal thread.

105 is not discontinued. I've checked with NAPA before and there are certain things they just can't order. I don't believe Aquawax was available through them last time I checked.
