hey guys its me again....with another topic that has been covered somewhat...

the reason I say somewhat is because most people have caught the water sots and their deposits soon after they were made.. Unfortunately i have wate spots b4 I was an apprentice autopian ;) so i need some help.I have had my truck for 18mos now and I belive my water spots have beee there for at least 5 mos (not really sure since i really never noticed them before) do you guys think vinegar will help me? or what can I try besides a repaint...

btw here is my arsenal of detailing goodies....i have the pc7424 with two megs polishing pads and a megs finishing pad, megs dacp, megs swirl remover 2.0, s100 sec, and s100 paste wax, and meguiars final inspection.......

Vinegar is always the best thing to try first - cheap and easy.

If that doesn't work they'll prolly need to be polished out. I'd use a yellow pad and DACP.

Make sure they really are water spots (deposits sitting on top of the paint) and not acid rain that looks like water spots. Use a magnifying glass or loupe and check closely.

ok i have tried the claybar...(for got to mention it in my bag of tricks i have the mothers and the claymagic........) hopefully the vinegar does the trick
