Old paint overspray removal from plastic molding

Guys just noticed i have some over spray paint on the black plastic molding ( smooth ),rocker panel,which i am finding it hard to take care of,any suggstions ? I tried clay bar and although it seems that it might work but it is soooo sloooow and so frustrating that i am willing to try something else.I also tried some paint thinner lacquer and it seems like rather then removing the paint ( a small spec) it actually spread even more :mad:

So fellas any one knows how to remove some old paint from a black molding ?
