I've been "auditing" Autpia for years as part of my job - Marketing Director for Optimum Polymer. Optimum takes a hands-off approach to forums, preferring to let installers answer product question, but we monitor them as well. Now I've moved into a new role with Optimum and combined that with physical relocation. Optimum is in Memphis and I now live on Lake Hamilton in Hot Springs AR. I continue to work PT for OPT answering technical questions and thought this would be a great time to become an active Autopian. I am not a professional detailer but years of working with Dr G have given me a close knowledge of products/usages. I can also vouch for what a terrific company Optimum Polymer is...and what a great man Dr G is!

So you're the guy responsible for the maddening attitude at the OPT forum???

We do seem lately to be able to get Ron to answer some questions over there but for a while I was pulling my hair out and I didn't have much to start with, so that was a real problem.

Honestly that's where you should be posting--when MDR and FerreX came out we were unable to even get a description of the product over there.

atthelake, I have a few new opti 2.0 left, would there be any advantage to applying gloss coat atop 2.0? If so, is there a time range or cure time for 2.0 prior to gloss coat application?
